What are the Amazon jobs?

Amazon will open a 634,000-square-foot fulfillment center in Alcoa, officials announced on Feb. 3, 2021. This rendering, provided by developer Hillwood, shows the design of the building, to be constructed on a portion of the former Pine Lakes Golf Course in Alcoa.

Amazon employees at the Alcoa campus will pick, pack and ship smaller items such as books, electronics and consumer goods. The facility will be the third in Tennessee to use innovative robotics technology.

Jobs might include package sorters and general warehouse workers. Many of these jobs are entry-level positions.
