These individuals are currently in quarantine and/or isolation. Due to federal health privacy laws, information regarding the staff member’s/student’s identity cannot be released.     Frisco ISD to offer hybrid and online high school options next year

    Frisco ISD announced Monday that starting in 2022, students can earn high school credit through two new approved paths: a full-time online option or a hybrid system through the FISD+ program.     Video circulating online shows classroom assault at Oscar Smith High School; police investigating

    CHESAPEAKE, Va. (WAVY) — A teacher’s assistant was assaulted by a student in a classroom Tuesday at Oscar Smith High School and WAVY News 10 has obtained video that shows the incident. In a voice message to families Tuesday, Oscar Smith Principal Paul Joseph said first responders reported to OSHS earlier in the day for a “medical emergency involving the assault of a staff member.” The principal said students have been circulating a video of the incident online. 10 On Your Side tracked down that video and received permission to use it in our coverage.     Police Investigate Online Threats Made To Students At Long Island High School

    There was an increased police presence at a Long Island high school to start the week as the department investigated a “potential threat” that was made online over the weekend. On Monday, Sept. 13, officers from the Suffolk County Police Department were at Commack High School to investigate after being alerted to online threats that were posted on Saturday, Sept. 11. The Commack School District reportedly received two anonymous alerts on Saturday that had “limited threatening information” that was directed at a “few” specific students, not the high school or district itself.     NASHVILLE (WSMV) – The Tennessee Department of Education, in partnership with the Niswonger Foundation, announced the launch of the state’s new AP Access for ALL program. With this program, nearly 1,200 high school students from 102 school districts across Tennessee will be able to begin the online course. AP Access for ALL is a grant program created to provide students across the state with access to virtual AP courses, eliminating financial barriers and supporting student enrollment in AP coursework not currently offered at their home high school.     GREAT FALLS, Mont. (AP) — About 1,500 students at Great Falls High School will begin remote learning Tuesday and through the rest of the week because of an increase in COVID-19 cases among students and staff, Great Falls Public Schools said Monday.
