    The Harvard Graduate School of Education is “prioritizing” reopening its campus in the fall and plans to resume accepting applications to its doctoral program, HGSE Dean Bridget Terry Long said in an interview Monday.     Fulton County opening full-time, online school this fall | North Fulton Neighbor

    Fulton County Schools is launching its first, full online school this fall.   When it launches in Fall 2021, the Fulton Academy of Virtual Excellence will allow students in grades 3 to 11 to attend classes in a more flexible format outside of the traditional 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., face-to-face school day. The online school was approved during a December 2020 school board meeting. Teachers will be announced this April and the school year will officially begin in August.  Instruction will include a blend of live, synchronous online lessons and asynchronous self-directed lessons from Fulton County teachers.     Bartlesville High to restart foreign exchange program this fall

    After a year off due to uncertainty about the coronavirus, Bartlesville High School will begin accepting foreign exchange students again in the 2021-22 school year. “The decision was made last summer not to host foreign exchange students this year because of many unknowns with starting a school year during a pandemic,” said Principal LaDonna Chancellor. “We didn’t know if we would have in-person classes or virtual classes, or if students would have opportunities to attend school events.” It turns out the Bartlesville school district’s plan for slowing the spread of the coronavirus has been highly effective, she said.     BVSD creates new online-only option for the fall

    Boulder Valley parents who want to keep their elementary and middle school students learning remotely in the fall will have a new option, called Link. The district is hosting two virtual information session for families to learn more about the new program, from 6 to 7 p.m. Wednesday and from 11 a.m. to noon Monday.
