Free training for high-demand jobs in 2021

DULUTH, MN– The City of Duluth is looking to help you find a job going in to 2021.

A number of organizations have teamed up to offer free training in some very high demand skill sets.

This includes I.T., nursing, and truck driving classes.

Elena Foshay, who is the director of Duluth’s Workforce Development, says connecting people with in-demand careers has been very important during the pandemic.

“There’s employers who are hiring and there’s a lot of careers that are in high demand. Our career pathway training is an opportunty to get some technical training that can offer opportunities for advancement, increases in wages over time, benefits, more stability,” said Foshay.

Classes begin in January.
