The West Fargo High School Student of the Month for November is Faith Greywind.
Greywind is the daughter of Tonya and Kenneth Greywind and was nominated for Student of the Month by Susan Jordahl.
Greywind is a member of the wind ensemble at West Fargo High School and plays the flute and has achieved a state star for her solo performance. Along with band, Faith is in the Spanish Club and has been taking Spanish since she has been a freshman in High School. Faith is currently in Spanish 4 and hopes to be very fluent in Spanish one day. Faith has lettered in academics every year of high school and has been taking advanced placement and dual credit classes. Faith is the Co-President of the National Honor Society where she has been involved in many community service projects. Along with all of her achievements, she has a been working since she was 14 years old.
Greywind plans to attend the University of North Dakota to pursue a career in a medical related field.
Sheyenne High School
The West Fargo Sheyenne High School Student of the Month for November is Sadio Abdi.
Abdi’s parent is Abdiyo Aden and Abdi was nominated for Student of the Month by Jessie Raile.
Abdi has been a member of the Family, Career and Community Leader of America for four years
and this year is the President of the FCCLA. Abdi has been a member of National Honor Society for the past two years and has played soccer for two years. Abdi has been awarded an academic letter for the past three years (so far) and in 2020 Sadio was a finalist for the QuestBridge National College Match Scholarship. Abdi has also taken AVID classes for the pass three years.
Abdi wants to pursue political science but at this time is undecided which college she will be attending.
